The Agenda for Sustainable Development
The 2030 Agenda was approved by 193 countries at the UN General Assembly in September 2015.
This agenda contains the Sustainable Development Goals , the targets and pillars of universal application, which since 2016 have governed the efforts of all signatory countries to achieve a more sustainable world and address the serious economic, social and environmental problems that affect the entire global population, transforming the world along the path of sustainability and resilience.

Without pollinators, there are no Sustainable Development Goals
For optimal crop production, a variety of pollinators is required. Bees and other pollinating insects are improving the food production of 2 billion smallholder farmers around the world, helping to ensure food security for the global population. Obtaining honey from wild bee colonies also continues to be an important component of the livelihoods of forest-dependent populations in many developing countries.
However, the lack of suitable habitat for bees could lead to a continued decline in pollination. Monocultures, pesticides, and the increasingly higher temperatures associated with climate change pose problems for bee populations and, by extension, for the quality of cultivated foods. The decline in pollination also poses an immediate threat to nutrition. If this trend continues, nutritious crops such as fruits, nuts, and many horticultural crops will be replaced by staple crops such as rice, corn, and potatoes, resulting in an unbalanced diet.

SDG 15 LIFE ON TERRESTRIAL ECOSYSTEMS
Apinae contributes to the achievement of Goal 15 by actively working to conserve terrestrial ecosystems through the protection of pollinators and the restoration of their habitats. Our beekeeping approach not only contributes to preserving biodiversity but also promotes sustainable agricultural practices that regenerate the soil, prevent deforestation, and foster a harmonious coexistence between food production and nature. In a context where biodiversity loss and land degradation are rapidly advancing, Apinae represents a concrete and local response to reverse these impacts, recognizing that without nature there is no future.
Join our mission : protect pollinators, consume responsible products, and support initiatives that restore and defend life on Earth.
Together we can regenerate ecosystems and ensure a sustainable future! 🐝
